ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An easy opening container construction wherein a pull tape is detachably bonded in a prescribed pattern to a container wall surrounding one or more dispensing openings. The configuration of the detachable bond or seal is accurately controlled by raising the container wall in the area of the detachable bond to a desired bond configuration. By so controlling the configuration of the detachable bond, the bond configuration remains the same, notwithstanding changes in operating conditions during the formation of the bond.
