The emitter for ion propulsion comprises: - two mutually coupled semi-emitters (3, 5), made of optical material, each of which presents a respective sharpened end; the two ends (3D, 5D) form a tip in correspondence of which there is a recess (15) for the diffusion of a propellant, obtained between said two semi-emitters; and - an adduction conduit (17) for adduction of the propellant to the recess (15).

L'invention porte sur un émetteur pour propulsion d'ions, lequel émetteur comprend : - deux semi-émetteurs mutuellement couplés (3, 5), et réalisés en un matériau optique, chacun d'eux présentant une extrémité aiguisée respective ; les deux extrémités (3D, 5D) formant une pointe en correspondance de laquelle se trouve une cavité (15) pour la diffusion d'un agent de propulsion, obtenue entre lesdits deux semi-émetteurs ; et un conduit d'adduction (17) pour l'adduction de l'agent de propulsion à la cavité (15).
