The invention concerns a cylindrical ionization chamber comprising an anode (35) formed by a central bar in electrically conductive material and a cathode (38) in electrically conductive material enclosing said anode, both connected to two elements of a mechanical base of said chamber, wherein two cylindrical end shields (36, 37) in non-magnetic insulating material are centred on the anode (35) and arranged perpendicular thereto at its two ends, the cathode (38) being formed of a wire coiled on the peripheral part of said two end shields (36, 37).

La présente invention concerne une chambre d'ionisation de forme cylindrique comportant une anode (35) formée d'une barre centrale en matériau conducteur électrique et une cathode (38) en matériau conducteur électrique entourant ladite anode, reliées toutes deux à deux éléments d'une embase mécanique de ladite chambre, dans laquelle deux flasques cylindriques (36, 37) en matériau amagnétique et isolant sont centrés sur l'anode (35) et disposés perpendiculairement à celle-ci en ses deux extrémités, la cathode (38) étant formée d'un fil bobiné sur la partie périphérique de ces deux flasques (36, 37).
