The invention relates to novel ionomer polyurethane thermoplastics (PUT) which can be obtained by reacting aromatic or aliphatic diisocyanates, difunctional polyols, chain extender glycols and anionic ionomer extender glycols, at a high temperature and for a reduced period of time. The ionomer PUTs thus obtained can be handled, stored and transported. Moreover, said PUTs can be used easily to obtain aqueous dispersions of ionomer PUTs which are suitable for numerous applications, such as for industrial adhesives and covers for flexible and rigid substrates.

L'invention concerne des nouveaux thermoplastiques de polyuréthane (TPU) ionomères, obtenus par une réaction à température élevée et temps réduit de di-isocyanates aromatiques ou aliphatiques, de polyols bifonctionnels, de glycols allongeurs de chaîne et de glycols allongeurs ionomères anioniques. Les TPU ionomères obtenus sont manipulables, stockables et transportables. De même, ils permettent d'obtenir facilement des dispersions aqueuses de TPU ionomères, utiles dans de nombreuses applications, telles que des adhésifs industriels et des revêtements de substrats souples et rigides.
