This invention provides an ion-tophoretic apparatus for administering a medicinal ion to an organism through an ion exchange membrane that can further improve an administration efficiency. The ion-tophoretic apparatus comprises a working electrode structure comprising a first porous film having a large number of pores, which communicate between the frontside surface and the backside surface, a first ion exchange membrane, formed of an ion exchange resin filled into the pores in the first porous film, for selecting a first conductivity type ion, and a medicine holding part disposed on the backside of the ion exchange membrane, for holding a medicinal liquid containing a medicinal ion electrified in the first conductivity type. The medicinal ion is administered through the first ion exchange membrane. A layer of a water soluble polymer compound chemically bonded to a material constituting the first porous film is formed on the surface of the first porous film.
La présente invention concerne un appareil iontophorétique permettant d'administrer un ion médicinal à un organisme par le biais d'une membrane d'échange ionique et susceptible de renforcer encore l'efficacité d'administration. L'appareil iontophorétique comprend une structure d'électrode de travail comportant un premier film poreux ayant un grand nombre de pores, communiquant entre la surface de face et la surface de dos, une première membrane d'échange ionique, constituée d'une résine d'échange ionique versée dans les pores dans le premier film poreux, permettant de sélectionner un ion de premier type de conductivité, et une pièce contenant un médicament disposée au dos de la membrane d'échange ionique, afin de renfermer un liquide médicinal contenant un ion médicinal électrifié du premier type de conductivité. L'ion médicinal est administré à travers la première membrane d'échange ionique. Une couche de composé polymère soluble dans l'eau liée chimiquement à un matériau constituant le premier film poreux est formée à la surface du premier film poreux.
