Disclosed is an iontophoresis device, wherein, between an electrolyte solution holding section for holding an electrolyte solution containing an electrolyte dissolved therein which dissociates into a first electrolytic ion exhibiting a first type of electroconductivity in a solution and a second electrolytic ion exhibiting a second type of electroconductivity in a solution and a pharmaceutical solution holding section for holding an pharmaceutical solution containing a medicine dissolved therein which dissociates into a first pharmaceutical ion exhibiting a first type of electroconductivity in a solution and a pharmaceutical counter ion exhibiting a second type of electroconductivity in a solution, there are arranged a first ion exchange membrane allowing selectively an ion exhibiting a second type of electroconductivity to pass through it and a porous separation membrane blocking the passage of a molecule having a molecular weight of a prescribed value or more, and an ion.
