The invention relates to an IP communication architecture between a ground computer (1) connected to a main router (3) and a mobile computer (4) onboard a train and connected to a mobile router of said train. The architecture comprises at least one infrastructure including base stations (7b, 8a-b, 12a-c) equipped with a radio communication means and ground base routers (17, 18, 11a-c), connected to the infrastructure. Each mobile router comprises: a radio communication means adapted for establishing a wireless communication link with one of the base stations of the infrastructure, a storing means comprising IP addresses of base routers connected to the infrastructure, and a connection means for initiating a connection with a base router from said list of base routers once a wireless link is established.

Architecture de communication IP entre un ordinateur (1 ) au sol, connecté à un routeur principal (3), et un ordinateur (4) mobile, embarqué à bord d'un train et connecté à un routeur mobile dudit train. L'architecture comporte au moins une infrastructure comportant des stations de base (7b, 8a-b, 12a-c) équipées de moyens de communication radio et des routeurs de base (17, 18, 11 a-c) au sol, relié à l'infrastructure. Chaque routeur mobile comporte: un moyen de communication radio adapté pour établir une liaison sans fil avec l'une des stations de base de l'infrastructure, des moyens de mémorisation comportant des adresse IP des routeurs de base reliés à l'infrastructure, et des moyens de connexion pour initier une connexion avec un routeur de base à partir de ladite liste de routeurs de base, après qu'une liaison sans fil a été établie.
