Said invention relates to a system for securing telephony on an internal packet based network (56) connected to an external network comprising a firewall (62) and a Proxy (52) for processing signalling calls, which both are connected to said internal network (56), wherein said system also comprises a security executive (68) which is connected to said Proxy (52) and controls said firewall (62) in response to data transmitted by the Proxy (52).
