A golf club comprises an elongated shaft; an iron or driver club head including: a lofted club face; and, a short, offsetting hosel that interconnects the shaft with the club head. The elongated shaft has a longitudinally extending centre-line axis. The shaft is interconnected in offset club-face-leading relation to the club head, through the offsetting hosel, so that the centre-line axis is aligned in generally centred, intersecting relation with the sweet-spot on the club face. It is characteristic of these clubs that with the shaft laid out on a flat, level reference surface with the club head extending in otherwise unsupported relateion over the edge of that surface, the natural balance of the club rotates the club head so that the face thereof then positions itself upwardly in a generally level orientation, as measured at right angles to the loft of the club face.
