POWDER METAL COMPOSITION Abstract of the Disclosure A powder metal composition containing 1.0-2.5% Ni, 0.3-0.7% Mo, 0.15-0.30% Mn, 0.5-1.5% Cu, 0.3-0.7% C, 0.50-1.0 zinc stearate, the balance being Fe. The presence of a small amount o. copper in the composition results in better machineablility and reduction of shrinkage in fabricated parts of higher tensile strength and higher toughness than that of composition of the prior art.
