The invention relates to an iron-nickel alloy with the following composition (in % by mass): C 0.05 to 0.5% Cr 0.2 to 2.0% Ni 33 to 42% Mn < 0.1% Si < 0.1% Mo 1.5 to 4.0% Nb 0.01 to 0.5% Al 0.1 to 0.8% Mg 0.001 to 0.01% V max. 0.1% W 0.1 to 1.5% Co max. 2.0% Fe residue and production-related additives.
