An oxide coated Fe powder for use to produce various electromagnetic circuit parts requiring high specific resistance. There is provided an Mg-containing oxide coated iron (Fe) powder comprising an iron powder having its surface coated with an Mg-Fe-O ternary oxide deposition film containing at least (Mg,Fe)O, wherein the (Mg,Fe)O is a crystalline wustite having MgO solid dissolved therein, and wherein the Mg-Fe-O ternary oxide deposition film in a region of interface with iron powder has a sulfur enriched layer containing sulfur in a concentration higher than in the center region of the iron powder, further having a microcrystalline structure of <= 200 nm crystal grain diameter, the outermost surface of which consists essentially of MgO. Furthermore, there is provided a composite soft magnetic material making use of the Mg-containing oxide coated iron (Fe) powder.
L'invention concerne une poudre de fer enrobée d'oxyde utilisée dans la production de diverses parties de circuits électromagnétiques nécessitant une résistance spécifique élevée. L'invention se rapporte à une poudre de fer (Fe) enrobée d'oxyde contenant du magnésium (Mg) comprenant une poudre de fer dont la surface est enrobée d'un film de dépôt d'oxyde ternaire Mg-Fe-O contenant au moins (Mg,Fe)O, où (Mg,Fe)O est une wustite cristalline renfermant MgO solide dissout et où le film de dépôt d'oxyde ternaire possède dans une zone d'interface contenant de la poudre de fer, une couche enrichie en souffre ayant une concentration en soufre plus élevée que dans la zone centrale de la poudre de fer, et possède également une structure microcristalline dont le diamètre granulométrique cristallin est < 200nm et dont la surface la plus externe est constituée principalement de MgO. L'invention concerne également une substance magnétique douce composite utilisée dans la poudre de fer (Fe) enrobée d'oxyde contenant Mg.
