A lubrication ring, for use in a fabrication press having an assembly with a main cavity and a die nib disposed on a surface of the cavity for ironing a workpiece passing through the cavity, includes a groove surrounding a periphery of and opening into the main cavity of the assembly. At least one passage is provided for introducing a fluid into the groove so as to flow within the groove. The fluid is introduced into the groove at a velocity which causes a centrifugal force exceeding the force of gravity to act on the fluid flowing in the groove.
L'invention a trait à un anneau de graissage destiné à une presse repasseuse comportant une cavité principale dont une des surfaces comprend une pointe pour le pressage d'une pièce entraînée à travers la cavité. Ledit anneau de graissage comprend une rainure à la périphérie d'une ouverture donnant sur la cavité principale de l'assemblage. Au moins un passage est prévu pour introduire un fluide dans la rainure de façon qu'il puisse couler à l'intérieur de celle-ci. Le fluide est introduit dans la rainure à une vitesse telle qu'une force centrifuge supérieure à la pesanteur agit sur le fluide qui s'écoule dans la rainure.
