A process for producing a polyurethane, comprising polyesterifying a carbamate containing at least two functional groups selected from hydroxyl groups and carboxylic acid groups or esters or anhydrides thereof, in the presence of a polyesterification enzyme, and optionally in the presence of one or more copolymerizable monomers having two or more functional groups selected from hydroxyl groups and carboxylic acid groups or esters or anhydrides thereof. This process enables a broader range of polyurethanes to be accessed commercially than the previously described processes.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de production d'un polyuréthane, consistant à polyestérifier un carbamate contenant au moins deux groupes fonctionnels choisis parmi des groupes hydroxyle ou des groupes d'acide carboxylique ou leurs esters ou anhydrides en présence d'une enzyme de polyestérification et facultativement d'un ou plusieurs monomères copolymérisables comportant un ou plusieurs groupes fonctionnels choisis parmi des groupes hydroxyle ou des groupes d'acide carboxylique ou leurs esters ou anhydrides. Le procédé permet d'obtenir un plus grand nombre de polyuréthanes que les procédés décrits antérieurement.
