ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of novel isocyanato-isocyanurates by the catalytic trimerization of a mixture of hexamethylene diisocyanate and l-isocyanato-3,3,5-trimethyl-5-isocyana- tomethyl-cyclohexane in a mole ratio of about 1:4 to 4:1, and to the products produced therefrom. The present invention also relates to the use of these products, optionally in blocked form, as the isocyanate component in ?olyurethane lacquers.
