ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Isocyanate-terminated prepolymers derived from polyether polyol mixtures having low monol contents are disclosed. The prepolymers are moisture cured or chain extended to give polyurethanes with improved tensile strength, tear strength, and reduced stress at high elongation. The polyether polyol mixtures have monol contents less than about 15 mole percent, and average hydroxyl functionalities within the range of about 1.9 to about 2.4.
