A method of treating or preventing, in a person, one or more symptoms of aging skin, said method comprising topically administering to the skin of said person a composition comprising one or more isoflavonoids selected from the group consisting of genistein, daidzein, biochanin A, formononetin, O- desmethylangolensin, glycitin, and equol, in a topically acceptable base, wherein the isoflavonoid concentration is between 1 and 40 mg per gram of base.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de traiter ou de prévenir chez un sujet un ou plusieurs symptômes liés au vieillissement de la peau. Ce procédé consiste à administrer de manière topique sur la peau dudit sujet, une composition contenant au moins un isoflavonoïde sélectionné dans le groupe comprenant génistéine, daïdzéine, biochanine A, formononétine, O-desméthylangolensine, glycitine et équol dans une base acceptable sur le plus topique. La concentration en isoflavonoïde est comprise entre 1 et 40 mg par gramme de base.
