ABSTRACT The present invention provides an isokinetic ergometer comprising a movement guide, power gripping points, a brake unit connected therewith and a speed regulator, characterised by the following features: a) the power gripping points are mechanically connected with a piston movable in a cylinder b) a flow regulation valve is attached to the cylinder , c) the cylinder and flow regulation valve are hydraulically connected with one another via a pipe , the flow regulation valve preferably regulating in the case of the length of the stroke.
