Abstract 1) An isolator switch with a main contact pin and a secondary contact pin. 2) An isolator switch is to be made capable of handling the high current values that occur at low driving voltages that occur during bus-bar changeovers. To this end, a secondary contact pin (3) that is arranged in the known member in the counter-contact (2) and which acts as an advance contact, is fitted with a secondary sliding contact (11). The secondary contact pin (3) leaves this secondary sliding contact (11) after contact is made with the counter-contact stud (7). This means that the nominal current is conducted only along the main current path. (Secondary contact pin moves away from the secondary sliding contact). 3) Figure 3
