The present invention provides DNA encoding a human ARSA-I protein selected from the group consisting of: (a) isolated DNA which encodes a human ARSA-I protein; (b) isolated DNA which hybridizes to isolated DNA of (a) above and which encodes a human ARSA-I protein; and (c) isolated DNA differing from the isolated DNAs of (a) and (b) above in codon sequence due to the degeneracy of the genetic code, and which encodes a human ARSA-I protein. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions comprising human ARSA-I protein and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and host cells transfected with the vector of the present invention said vector expressing a human ARSA-I protein.
La présente invention concerne un ADN codant une protéine ARSA-I humaine choisie dans le groupe composé de: (a) un ADN isolé codant une protéine ARSA-I humaine; (b) un ADN isolé qui s'hybride avec l'ADN isolé mentionné sous (a) ci-dessus et qui code une protéine ARSA-I humaine; et (c) un ADN isolé dont la séquence de codon diffère de celle des ADN isolés mentionnés sous (a) et (b) ci-dessus en raison de la dégénérescence du code génétique et qui code une protéine ARSA-I humaine. On décrit également des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant la protéine ARSA-I humaine et un excipient pharmaceutiquement acceptable, ainsi que des cellules hôtes transfectées avec le vecteur de la présente invention, ledit vecteur exprimant une protéine ARSA-I humaine.
