A formation isolation valve assembly for use in a well includes first and second fluid paths (178 180) that are coupled to at least first and second completion zones (20, 22). A first valve (116) controls fluid flow from the first zone to the first fluid path, and a second valve (116) controls fluid flow from a second zone to the second fluid path. The valves may include ball valves and sleeve valves.

L'invention porte sur un ensemble de vannes permettant d'isoler une formation géologique et destiné à se placer dans un puits. Ledit ensemble comporte un premier et un deuxième passage (178, 180) de fluide reliés à au moins une première et une deuxième zone (20, 22) d'exploitation. La première vanne (116) commande le flux liquide provenant de la première zone d'exploitation et empruntant le premier passage, et la deuxième vanne (116) commande le flux liquide provenant de la deuxième zone d'exploitation et empruntant le deuxième passage. Lesdites vannes peuvent être du type à boulet ou à manchon.
