A modular three position vacuum isolator switch that is operable to connect a moveable contact to either of two stationary contacts or an intermediate position which is out of electrical engagement with either of the stationary contacts. One of the stationary contacts is grounded and the other is connected to two electrical connectors. One of the two electrical connectors is connected to a first line source and the second is connected to a corresponding input on a second similar isolator switch model, which itself is connected to a second line source. The moveable contact is connected to a circuit interrupter for connecting the circuit interrupter to either of the two line sources, to ground, or to isolate the circuit interrupter by placing the isolator switch module in the intermediate position.
Cette invention concerne un contacteur modulaire d'solation à dépression, à trois positions, qui sert à relier un contact mobile à l'un ou l'autre de deux contacts fixes ou à une position intermédiaire qui est déconnectée électriquement de l'un ou l'autre desdits contacts fixes. L'un de ces contacts fixes est relié à la terre, l'autre à des prises électriques. L'une des prises électriques est reliée à une première source d'alimentation, la seconde a une entrée correspondante sur un second modèle de contacteur d'isolation analogue au premier, lequel est lui-même relié au une seconde source d'alimentation. Le contact mobile est connecté à un interrupteur de circuit et relie ce dernier à l'une ou l'autre des sources d'alimentation, à la terre, ou bien isole ledit interrupteur de circuit en plaçant le module du d'isolation sur la position intermédiaire.
