A process for the production of triptane, said process comprising: isomerising a hydrocarbon feedstock by containing said feedstock with an isomerisation catalyst at a reaction temperature of -50 to 25 ~C , and a contact time of 0.01 to 150 hours, such that the triptane selectivety of the isomerisation reaction is at least 5 % as a proportion of said hydrocarbon feedstock.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production de triptane, qui consiste à isomériser une charge d'hydrocarbure en mettant en contact cette charge avec un catalyseur d'isomérisation à une température de réaction comprise entre 50 ·C et 25 ·C pendant un temps de contact de 0,01 à 150 heures, de façon que la sélectivité du triptane de la réaction d'isomérisation représente au moins 5 % de la charge d'hydrocarbure.
