The present invention is concerned with isoxazole-pyridine derivatives of formula I, having affinity and selectivity for GABA A a5 receptor, their manufacture, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use as medicaments. The active compounds of the present invention are useful as cognitive enhancer or for the therapeutic and/or prophylactic treatment of cognitive disorders like Alzheimer's disease.

L'invention concerne des dérivés d'isoxazole-pyridine représentés par la formule I, qui présentent une affinité et une sélectivité vis-à-vis du récepteur GABA A a5, un procédé de fabrication de ces dérivés, des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant ceux-ci et l'utilisation de ces dérivés comme médicaments. Les composés actifs de l'invention sont utiles comme agents améliorant les facultés cognitives ou dans le traitement thérapeutique et/ou prophylactique de troubles cognitifs tels que la maladie d'Alzheimer.
