An item according to the invention comprises at least two data storage elements such as e.g. an RFID transponder 2 and a barcode 5, wherein the latter is non-visible for the unaided human eye and comprises coded information. The invention allows for a backup of information between the two data storage elements, in order to prevent inadvertent or malicious data loss. Further aspects of the invention are related to the interdependent or the cooperative use of both storage elements in the framework of a product security tracking and tracing scheme.
La présente invention concerne un article comprenant au moins deux éléments de stockage de données tels qu'un transpondeur d'identification par radiofréquence (2) ou "transpondeur RFID" et un code barres (5), ce dernier, qui n'est pas visible à l'oeil nu, comprend de l'information codée. L'invention permet une sauvegarde de l'information entre les deux éléments de stockage des données de façon à prévenir la perte de données par inadvertance ou malveillance. D'autres aspects de l'invention se rapportent à l'utilisation en interdépendance ou en coopération des deux éléments de stockage des données dans le cadre d'une logique de sécurité des produits avec suivi et traçabilité.
