ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A telephone jack assembly is disclosed having a frame and a plurality of spring contacts. The plurality of spring contacts include tip and ring contacts and normal spring contacts. The normal spring contacts include body portions and offset portions which are generally parallel to and spaced from one another. The spring contacts and normal spring contacts are carried on said frame for the offset portions of the normal contacts to oppose and abut the spring contacts in their rest positions.
