An anti-jamming design for a stapler track (80) provides reduced force to shear a staple (401) from a rack (400) of staples. In stapling, a front staple must be separated from a rack of staples to eject the staple out. Conventional staplers shear the glue that holds the staples together all at once, so the peak force to separate the staple is high. In the present invention the glue that holds staples together in a rack is sheared by a peeling action. Locally progressing sections of glue are peeled as the front staple is sheared from the adjacent second staple. According to one embodiment of the invention progressive shearing is provided by an asymmetric track front end, whereby the front staples are fully supported on one side only so that the staple rack twists as the striker (100) slowly presses down. The striker contacts the supported, higher, side of the staple first and the staple begins to shear from this higher side. When used in a low force spring actuated stapler, the present invention prevents the striker from resting atop the staple in an energized state if the stapling cycle is not properly completed.
L'invention concerne une conception anti-enchevêtrement d'un support à agrafes (80) permettant de réduire la force nécessaire au détachage d'une agrafe (401) par rapport à une barrette (400) d'agrafes. Lors de l'agrafage, une agrafe frontale doit être séparée d'une barrette d'agrafes afin d'éjecter l'agrafe. Des agrafeuses habituelles détachent l'adhésif maintenant toutes les agrafes ensemble, la force nécessaire au détachage d'une agrafe est donc très élevée. Selon l'invention, l'adhésif maintenant toutes les agrafes ensemble est détaché par pelage. Des sections d'adhésif progressant localement sont pelées lorsque l'agrafe frontale est détachée de la deuxième agrafe adjacente. Dans un mode de réalisation, le détachage progressif est réalisé par une extrémité frontale asymétrique, les agrafes frontales étant uniquement supportées sur un côté de manière que la barrette d'agrafes se vrille lorsque le dispositif de frappe (100) exerce progressivement une pression vers le bas. Le dispositif de frappe entre d'abord en contact avec le côté supérieur supporté de l'agrafe, puis l'agrafe commence à se détacher sur son côté supérieur. Lorsque le système selon l'invention est employé dans une agrafeuse à ressort à force réduite, celui-ci permet d'éviter que le dispositif de frappe ne reste bloqué sur le haut de l'agrafe à l'état actionné dans le cas où le cycle d'agrafage ne serait pas réalisé correctement.
