ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Jaw force gauge provides a load cell carrying strain gages arranged in a bridge circuit, with the load cell being gripped by jaws of a chuck for response of the strain gages to the force of one of the jaws in unbalancing the bridge circuit with resulting output of a voltage which is used to operate a force indicator. -1-
