A jet actuator, particularly for rotat- ing pulse sprinklers, includes: a spout (3) and a nozzle (7) for generating a jet; a de- flector (10, 100) which can oscillate freely in a transverse direction between a posi- tion that lies completely outside the jet and a position in which it is immersed in the jet to the maximum extent; a support- ing arm (8) for supporting the deflector to transfer the energy drawn from the jet; the deflector (10) has a main surface that has a curved and convex shape that is approx- imately cylindrical, with its axis substan- tially at right angles to the jet, and remains substantially aligned with the stream of the jet so as to generate a negative pres- sure force produced by fluid dynamics, and optionally has a secondary surface which is preferably flat, is inclined with respect to the main one at a high angle, and can interact with the jet to produce, at a critical incidence value, the separation and complete breakup of the fluid column on the curved main surface. 0
Dispositif à jet, notamment pour arroseurs pulsés rotatifs, comprenant un distributeur (3) et un ajutage (7) servant à produire un jet; un déflecteur (10, 100) apte à osciller librement dans le sens transversal entre une position dans laquelle il se trouve entièrement à l'écart du jet et une position dans laquelle il est immergé au maximum dans le jet; et un bras support (8) servant à soutenir le déflecteur afin de transférer l'énergie du jet. Le déflecteur (10) présente une face principale courbe et convexe à peu près cylindrique dont l'axe est sensiblement perpendiculaire au jet, et il demeure dans une position sensiblement alignée sur le jet afin de créer une force de dépression due à la dynamique du fluide. Ledit déflecteur présente éventuellement une face secondaire qui est de préférence plate et inclinée par rapport à la face principale de manière à former un grand angle avec celle-ci et à coopérer avec le jet pour que, à une valeur d'incidence critique, la colonne de fluide se divise et se brise complètement sur la face principale courbe.
