ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The jet of an industrial washing machine jet assembly comprises a passage through a ball which is clamped to one end of a feeder pipe by a nut. The other end of the feeder pipe is clamped releasably to a header pipe by a stirrup clamp. Once the jet assembly has been located initially relative to the header pipe and clamped to the header pipe by the stirrup clamp, the plate of the stirrup clamp, the plate of the stirrup clamp is welded to the header pipe so that the jet assembly can be demounted for cleaning and remounted in the same location. Once the jet assembly is mounted on the header pipe, the jet is orientated by swivelling the ball whilst the nut is slackened off. The nut is tightened up to clamp the ball in the selected orientation.
