INK JET INK Abstract of the Disclosure An ink for use in ink jets is provided. The ink comprises, (a) water, (b) a water immiscible solvent, (c) a complexing agent which comprises the diethanol or triethanol amine salt of a long chain fatty acid, and an aromatic anionic active wetting agent, and (d) a water insoluble dye which is soluble in the mixture of (a), (b) and (c) above.
