A jet-propelled watercraft is provided which, using a simple configuration, can maintain a propulsion force required for a turn made at the same time as closing of a throttle valve. A jet-propelled watercraft discharges a water jet using a turning force of an engine, obtains a propulsion force from the water jet, and makes a turn by changing the direction of the water jet. The jet-propelled watercraft has an auxiliary intake valve and a control unit (EUC). The auxiliary intake valve is provided in an intake pipe and opens/closes an auxiliary intake passage which provides bypassing of a throttle valve. The ECU performs control such that an opening of the auxiliary intake valve in a state where the rotation speed of the engine is not lower than a threshold value is larger than the opening of the auxiliary intake valve in a state where the engine is idling and such that, when, in a state where the rotation speed is not lower than the threshold value, it is detected that the throttle valve is completely closed and that a steering mechanism has been turned by a prescribed angle or more, a current opening of the auxiliary intake valve is maintained.
Un véhicule marin à propulsion par jet peut, par simple configuration, maintenir la force de propulsion nécessaire pour effectuer une rotation en même temps que la fermeture d'une soupape d'étranglement. Un véhicule marin à propulsion par jet évacue un jet d'eau au moyen d'une force de rotation d'un moteur, obtient une force propulsive du jet d'eau, et effectue une rotation en changeant la direction du jet d'eau. Ce véhicule est pourvu d'une soupape d'admission auxiliaire et d'un bloc de commande électronique (ECU). Ladite soupape comprend une pipe d'admission, et elle ouvre ou referme un passage d'admission auxiliaire qui assure la mise en dérivation d'une soupape d'étranglement. L'ECU effectue la commande, de sorte que l'ouverture de la soupape d'admission auxiliaire à l'état où la vitesse de rotation du moteur n'est pas inférieure à une valeur de seuil, est plus grande que l'ouverture de la soupape d'admission auxiliaire à l'état où le moteur est au ralenti. Ainsi, lorsqu'à l'état où la vitesse de rotation est n'est pas inférieure à la valeur de seuil, la soupape d'étranglement est complètement fermée et un mécanisme de gouverne a été tourné d'un angle prescrit ou plus, l'ouverture actuelle de la soupape d'admission auxiliaire est maintenue.
