A jewellry snap system for removably linking a charm to a jewellry item includes an elastic open ended oval ring defining a plane and having two rounded ends. The rounded ends curve in opposite directions perpendicular to the plane and define a gap therebetween for receiving a charm. The present invention allows a charm to be snapped onto a wide variety of jewellry items, such as a necklace, earing or bracelet. The charms are easily removable. With the system of the present invention, it is unnecessary to have items such as charms soldered on or otherwise permanently attached. The present invention may be reused many times, as the ring springs back to its original shape. The present invention allows the decorative part of jewellry to be changed at any time in order to change the look of the jewellry item.
