ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A jig washer, divided into compartments, for the beneficiation, i.e., dressing, processing, treatment, recovery of coal or other minerals on a jig bed, in which pulsating movements of compressed air in pulsating chambers produce, below the jig bed, in the compartments, a correspond- ing pulsating movement in a separating liquid, characterized in that the pulsating chambers preferably designed symmetrically are arranged centrally of the jig washer compartments, the pulsating chambers being suspended in the jig washer compart- ments, by support sheet means defining chambers whereby a central arrangement of one pulsating chamber in each compartment is provided.
