ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The several mating preformed parts of a multi-part ceramic mold are held in assembled relation by a surround- ing ring that closely engages the mold. The ring may be slid over the mold or may be formed in place on the mold to be in intimate contact therewith and become a permanent part of the mold. The ring may have an integral pouring cup if the ring is to be at the top of the mold.
