A joint able to join three members. The joint is formed by each member having at least one channel of a width generally equal to the thickness of a member to be joined to it and a length generally equal to the width of a member to be joined to it. There is a recess in each member positionable so that, when constructed, the joint has a pathway formed by said recesses. A locking member is received by said pathway to lock the joint.

L'assemblage est réalisé au moyen d'au moins un canal pratiqué dans chacun des éléments reliés par la cheville, ce canal étant généralement d'une largeur correspondant à l'épaisseur d'un élément à relier et d'une longueur correspondant généralement à la largeur de l'élément à relier. Chaque élément est doté d'une rainure située de manière que lorsque la cheville est en place, ces rainures constituent une voie d'accès pour la cheville. Un dispositif de blocage s'insère dans cette voie d'accès pour empêcher la cheville de bouger.
