ABSTRACT There is provided a joint bridging construction for bridges, where sealing bodies flush with the upper side of the roadway are of elastic material, and are inserted into recesses with the aid of beads. The sealing bodies may include movable intermediate members, and are secured against withdrawal by holding bodies of circular section. The walls of the recesses are parallel, and the holding body is a dowel fitted into the wall of the recess and part of which is fitted into the bead. At the height of the upper side of an edge beam or the intermediate members, a cut is arranged.
