The invention relates to a joint prosthesis intended to be mounted between two bones to be joined together. The joint prosthesis comprises a spacer part (1, 6, 11, 16, 23, 29, 33), intended to be placed between the joint surfaces of the bones to be joined. The spacer part is manufactured of biodegradable polymer, co-polymer, polymer mixture and/or composite. The spacer part is, at least under tissue conditions, porous and elastic. The joint prosthesis further comprises fixation parts (2, 3; 7, 8; 13a, b, c, 12; 17, 18; 24, 25; 30; 34, 35) which are arranged to fix the spacer part (1, 6, 11, 16, 23, 29, 33) to the bones to be joined, and which are manufactured of biodegradable material.

L'invention porte sur une prothèse articulaire à poser entre deux os pour les relier, et comportant une pièce d'espacement (1, 6, 11, 16, 23, 29, 33) s'intercalant entre les surfaces articulaires des os à relier et faite d'un polymère, co-polymère, mélange et/ou composite de polymère biodégradable. Ladite pièce d'espacement est poreuse et élastique, au moins dans des conditions tissulaires. La prothèse comporte en outre des pièces de fixation (2, 3; 7, 8; 13a, b, c, 12; 17, 18; 24, 25; 30; 34, 35) conçues pour fixer la pièce d'articulation (1, 6, 11, 16, 23, 29, 33) aux os à relier et qui sont faites d'un matériau biodégradable.
