A joint prosthesis for a femoral head cooperating with an acetabulum, said prosthesis comprising: a cap having a contact surface abutting the femoral head, and an outer surface at least approximately shaped as a spherical cap, said contact surface being defined by an internal surface of the cap, which internal surface is at least approximatelyadapted to the shape of the femoral head; a supporting member designed for fixation to the femur bone opposite to the femoral head; and restraining means the operation of which is dependent on the direction of the forces acting thereon so as to permit changes in position of the cap with respect to the supporting member in the direction away from the acetabulum, and to at least impede changes in position of the cap with respect to the supporting member in the direction towards the acetabulum in comparison with the changes of position in the direction away of the acetabulum.
L'invention concerne une prothèse articulaire (10) qui comprend un capuchon (11) présentant une face d'appui, un système télescopique (15) comportant un élément télescopique situé côté capuchon (17) et un élément télescopique situé côté support (18), qui s'engage de manière télescopique dans le précédent, ainsi qu'un support (16) relié à l'élément télescopique situé côté support et destiné à être fixé à la surface de l'os. La face d'appui est formée par une face intérieure (13) du capuchon, adaptée au moins approximativement à la forme du condyle. Il est prévu un dispositif d'arrêt agissant en fonction de la direction, qui permet au capuchon de se déplacer par rapport au support, dans la direction opposée à l'emboîture, et l'empêche de se déplacer dans la direction orientée vers l'emboîture ou du moins rend ce déplacement difficile. L'invention concerne également un dispositif chirurgical permettant de pratiquer un trou, qui comprend une douille (131) destinée à recevoir un instrument et un système (125) destiné à recevoir au moins en partie le condyle, qui amène l'axe longitudinal médian en relation avec la périphérie du condyle et positionne le dispositif par rapport au système osseux.
