Jointing cement intending in particular for fastening together a plurality of filter blocks of a filtering body of an exhaust gas particulate filter of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, said cement comprising, in percentages by weight relative to the weight of the mineral material, apart from possible water and a possible mineral resin, between 30 and 90% silicon carbide (SiC), at least 3% of hollow spheres comprising, in percentages by weight and for a total of at least 99%, between 20 and 99% silica (SiO2) and between 1 and 80% alumina (Al2O3), at least 80% by number of the hollow spheres having a size of between 5 and 150 mm.

Ciment de jointoiement destiné notamment à la solidansation d'une pluralité de blocs filtrants d'un corps filtrant prévu pour la filtration de particules de gaz d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne d'un véhicule automobile, ou à servir de revêtement périphérique pour un tel corps filtrant ledit ciment comportant, en pourcentages en masse par rapport à la masse de la matière minérale, hormis l'eau éventuelle et une résine minérale éventuelle, - entre 30 et 90 % de carbure de silicium (SiC), - au moins 3% de sphères creuses comportant, en pourcentages massiques et pour un total d'au moins 99%, entre 20 et 99% de silice (SiO2) et entre 1 et 80% d'alumine (A1203), au moins 80% en nombre des sphères creuses présentant une taille comprise entre 5 et 150 µm.
