In the manner that footwear is constructed, it is common for the sole and the back of the heel to be two separate entities joined by a seam. This means that to apply footwear, the foot must be slipped into the opening of the footwear, and then the heel of the foot pushed down into the footwear, or the heel of the footwear be pulled up over the back of the heel of the foot. In this invention, the sole of the footwear, and the heel are of one entity, and differentiated by a special fold which enables the back of the heel of the footwear to fold up and down over the heel and subsequently be fastened or unfastened, so that the foot can be inserted straight into the footwear from the back.
