The disclosure relates to a joystick (24) for positioning a test axis of an ophthalmic instrument relative to an eye of a patient. In a preferred embodiment, the joystick (24) includes an actuator (30) extending therefrom and arranged to alternately engage a pair of motor control switches (28a and 28b) incident to slight rotation of the joystick handle (31) in opposite directions, thereby activating a motor drive to raise and lower the test axis.

L'invention concerne une manette (24) permettant de positionner un axe de mesure d'un instrument ophtalmique par rapport à l'oeil d'un patient. Dans un mode préféré de réalisation, cette manette (24) comporte un actionneur (30) attenant et conçu pour venir en alternance en contact avec une paire de commutateurs (28a, 28b) de commande de moteur suite à une légère rotation du manche (31) de la manette dans des sens opposés, actionnant ainsi une commande de moteur pour élever et abaisser l'axe de mesure.
