A novel container-fermenter and dispenser and method for the sale, transport and fermenting of a fermentable juice or concentrate, and for the storage and dispensing of the alcoholic beverage produced thereby. A pliable, collapsible bag which preferably is disposed within a rigid cylindrical pail or cubical carton has a conventional faucet or spout near the base thereof for dispensing the contents and has a valve with airlock and safety valve at the top thereof for admitting a selected yeast culture and for permitting the egress of gases produced during fermentation, and for sealing the bag once fermentation is complete.
