Abstract of the Disclosure A juice squeezer for squeezing citrus fruits comprising a generally conical squeezer member, a strainer associated with the squeezer member for retaining the flesh of the fruit squeezed out with the juice, a juice-col- lecting housing, and a cleaning element for clearing away the flesh of the fruit retained by the strainer from the area of the squeezer member from which the juice is discharged. The cleaning element and the strainer are arranged so that they are movable relative to one another so that the strainer can be cleared of fruit flesh which otherwise would impede recovery of the juice.
