ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A desk top justifying typographic apparatus including a dividing and encoding means for encoding text information and line terminating information, and wherein the line terminating information includes a signal which is transmitted through a word space counter and a number of units left in a line measuring means for controlling a justifying encoding means to instantly and simultaneously calculate and encode a justifying quotient and remainder code appropriate for the terminated line, and wherein the encoded text and justifying information controls a printing means to automatically produce a justified text.
