The recent introduction to the general marketplace of 5-liter beer kegs has posed an interesting challenge to the end user. A single individual cannot easily operate the keg. In order to properly operate the unit, the user must be able to secure the unit from sliding backwards as he/she closes the dispensing valve located at the bottom side of the unit. This can be accomplished simply by holding the back of the unit secure with one hand while pushing the valve inward with the other hand. The difficulty with this action is, while closing the valve the unit continues to dispense liquid until the valve is fully closed. A third hand is therefore required to keep a glass under the valve during this closing process to prevent liquid from spilling on the floor. Therefore the invention is a user- friendly device. Therefore making it easier to operate the 5-L beer keg.
