ABSTRACT A device, comprising an upper die 14 which moves up and down and whose front part forms a profiling portion having a chevron-like section, a lower die 11 which makes a pair with said upper die 14, a key-holding means 16 which clamps longitudinally an original key 34 and a blank key 35 side by side, and a driving means 18 which drives up and down aforesaid upper die 14; reproducing a duplicate key by cutting serrations one by one on either one side or both sides of aforesaid blank key 35 through a pressing process in which aforesaid key-holding means 16 is moved, with the front side of aforesaid upper die 14 being adjusted to the serrations of the original key 34. 13
