A keypad (500) is described herein in which the keypad (500) can have a keypad sheet (300) and a keymat layer (400) molded onto the back side of the keypad sheet (300). The keypad sheet (300) can include a plurality of keys (305) formed on a front side of the keypad sheet (300) and a plurality of actuators (310) formed on a back side of the keypad sheet (300) and protruding from the back side of the keypad sheet (300). Slits (320) are cut around at least some of the keys (305) to provide the keys (305) with flexibility. The slits (320) do not pierce the keymat layer (400).
