A two-pass classification system and method that post-processes HMM scores with additional confidence scores to derive a value that may be applied to a threshold on which a keyword verses non-keyword determination may be based. The first stage comprises Generalized Probabilistic Descent (GPD) analysis whichuses feature vectors of the spoken words and the HMM segmentation information (developed by the HMM detector during processing) as inputs to develop a first set of confidence scores through a linear combination (a weighted sum) of the feature vectors of the speech. The second stage comprises a linear discrimination methodthat combines the HMM scores and the confidence scores from the GPD stage with aweighted sum to derive a second confidence score. The output of the second stagemay then be compared to a predetermined threshold to determine whether the spoken word or words include a keyword.
ystème de classification à deux passes et méthode de post-traitement des scores de modélisation markovienne (HMM) comportant des scores de fiabilité supplémentaires pour l'obtention d'une valeur qu'il serait possible d'appliquer à un seuil permettant de déterminer s'il y a ou non un mot clé. La première étape comprend une analyse par héritage probabiliste généralisée (GPD) faisant appel à des vecteurs de traits de mots parlés et à l'information par segmentation HMM (réalisée par le détecteur HMM pendant le traitement) comme valeurs d'entrée pour l'obtention d'un premier ensemble de scores de fiabilité grâce à la combinaison linéaire (somme pondérée) des vecteurs de traits de la voix. La deuxième étape comporte une méthode de discrimination linéaire combinant les scores HMM et les scores de fiabilité de l'étape GPD avec une somme pondérée pour l'obtention du deuxième score de fiabilité. Le résultat de cette deuxième étape est alors comparé à un seuil prédéterminé pour déterminer si le mot ou les mots parlés comportent un mot clé.
