ABSTRACT Originally using concrete cases of gravitational, electrostatic and magnetic interactions, several versions of a new kind of engine are proposed. When the smaller of two plates is set under a given angle with respect to the bigger one, trying to be in an energetically optimal state, it strives to take a perpendicular or a parallel position to the bigger plate depending on whether the plates interact gravitationally, electro- statically when they are charged or magnetically when they are plate- shaped permanent magnets the poles of which are on their larger surfaces or one of the plates is such a magnet and the other is made of a ferro- magnetic material. This configuration of interacting plates is realized in several versions of the new engine. The main parts of the engine are a given number of plates and a ring-shaped part for a disk) playing the role of the bigger plate. The plates are fixed under an angle round the disk or round either the inner or the outer surface of the ring-shaped part.
